Matthew Powers, 33, of Alexandria; Mondell Opoku, 32, of Woodbridge; Andres Blacno, 27 of Clinton, MD; and Ali Banihashemi, 32, of Burke; were charged with various drug offenses and more, Fairfax County police said.
An investigation into the four was launched in March 2023 following a tip into a drug distribution ring in the Mount Vernon District, authorities said.
Psilocybin and LSD, two firearms, more than $138,000 in cash, and a Porsche SUV in connection to the illegal operation were seized, police said. Police also found several bank accounts and valuable jewelry, they said.
The drugs had an estimated street value of several hundred, thousand dollars, authorities said.
